THE FIRST POWER OF EVIL

Whatever happened to Satanic cinema? Gotta love movies like this one: “The First Power” starring Lou Diamond Phillips. This was one of my fave movies as a kid, because I’m weird like that. Maybe it’s a bit cheesy for modern cinema but it didn’t seem cheesy at all in this movie. But Arnold Schwarzenegger made a Satanic action movie called “End Of Days”. That movie wasn’t cheesy. The thing is the devil coming back to Earth is something that has to be done right in order to work. In this movie we have a cop going up against one of those classic 80′s badguys that showed up in other movies. They should bring back this trend. Come back Satan! Lou Diamond Phillips was also good in “The Big Hit” as a hitman. Check it out.
